For a long time, I thought something was wrong with me.

I had everything I was supposed to want — a serious career inside IBM’s Watson unit, strategic leadership at Shell, and a place at INSEAD. But instead of feeling secure, I felt quietly displaced. Like I was playing a game whose rules no longer matched the world I was living in.

Then something shifted.

I walked down a street where most people looked roughly the same — and suddenly I saw a giant, not seven feet tall, but ten thousand miles tall, his head in the stratosphere. That giant was the exponential world. Platforms, networks, and AI had changed the scale of what was possible. I wasn’t small. The playing field had become vast.

So I stepped out.

I moved to Qatar. I let go of my job title. I entered a year without an office, a familiar circle, or an identity to hide behind. The silence was terrifying — and honest. It forced the questions I had been avoiding:
Who am I without my role?
What do I actually want to build?
Who do I become if I stop being careful?

In that space, I followed curiosity. Hundreds of books and masterclasses. Thousands of conversations. Long nights exploring and writing about artificial intelligence — not just as a technology, but as the engine that turns tiny differences into enormous outcomes. AI makes the exponential world unavoidable.

What I discovered was unsettling.

Most of what we call “reality” is inherited software — stories about safety, money, success, and permission that we mistake for laws of physics. And when AI multiplies those stories, it doesn’t just scale businesses. It scales beliefs.

Planet B is the name I gave to what exists beyond those scripts.

It is the world of power laws instead of averages.
Of leverage instead of labor.
Of signal instead of status.
Of creation instead of compliance.

But the deepest truth didn’t come from technology.

It came from watching children — and from standing in nature.

Children arrive already tuned to Planet B. They follow excitement. They explore. They play. They trust their inner compass. And in the natural world, nothing performs, nothing pretends. Trees grow. Rivers flow. Life follows its own intelligence without permission.
