It can be sharpened from the outside. It can be challenged, accelerated, stress-tested, and expanded. But the real thing, the strategy that actually moves an organisation, has to come from within.
Why This Practice Exists
Conviction cannot be outsourced.
The strongest strategies are not imported into a company. They are born inside it, often as an instinct, a tension, or an unfinished idea that leaders wrestle with until it becomes clear enough to act on.
Strategy is a cognitive act.
Before strategy becomes a roadmap, it exists as a way of seeing. The leader senses that something has changed, that old assumptions no longer hold. The most powerful ideas start not as polished answers, but as informed intuition.
AI is a thinking partner, not a replacement.
The strongest leaders use AI to pressure-test ideas, expose blind spots, challenge inherited assumptions, and run alternative scenarios. AI does not replace judgment. It amplifies it.
The real advantage is first-principles thinking.
Not copying best practice, but questioning what is no longer true. What would this business look like if we built it fresh under today's conditions, not yesterday's assumptions?
Every AI decision creates dependencies.
